About The Adventures of Jack & Dobbie

There are six stories in The Adventures of Jack & Dobbie series. These stories outline the lives and adventures of two Chihuahuas, Jack & Dobbie.

The Adventures of Jack & Dobbie books are intended to be read as a pleasant bedtime story of about six minutes in length, or a book that beginning readers can enjoy by themselves. It is a story about love in the lives of two little dogs.

The Beginning

This is the first book in a series about Jack and Dobbie, two Chihuahuas, who became 'brothers' by adoption. The series begins at the point where Dobbie, who was previously abused, is adopted through a local animal rescue group as a playmate for Jack. The events are true and most of the pictures were drawn from actual photographs.

Happy Tails

This is the second book in a series about two Chihuahuas, Jack and Dobbie. Happy Tails details events that nearly ended in disaster as well as more light-hearted moments of interaction with Jack. We hope you enjoy reading their story and that you may be encouraged to adopt a pet and know the true joy they bring to the home.

Doggie Holidays

This is the third book in a series about two Chihuahuas, Jack and Dobbie. Doggie Holidays describes how the dogs celebrate their birthdays and holidays. This book also details Jack's seizures and contains references to two very important people in the Scotts lives who both passed away in 2009.

Traveling Buddies

This is the fourth book in a series about two Chihuahuas, Jack and Dobbie. Traveling Buddies details the vehicles the dogs like to ride in and the places they visit.

Mischievous Chihuahuas

This is the fifth book in a series about two Chihuahuas, Jack and Dobbie. Mischievous Chihuahuas reveals their bad behavior always discovered after the fact. Children will learn the dogs are not always perfect; but they are still loved.

Guard Dogs on Patrol

Guard Dogs on Patrol is the sixth and final book in a series about two Chihuahuas, Jack and Dobbie. Guard Dogs on Patrol helps the reader understand how the two little Chihuahuas work as partners to protect and defend their territory.
